Strong oral and written communication skills
If these sound like you then, a legal career might be for you.

There are many paths one can take when someone goes to law school: Personal Injury, Criminal Defense, Family, Labor, Corporate, Property, Immigration, and more. Each type of lawyer specializes in their field and can help people in their own ways. On average a lawyer will spend 40-80 hours working a week. This does vary based on the type of law one practices and the size of the practice one works in. There are a few general steps that students have to complete to become a lawyer.
Step 1: Obtain Undergraduate Degree
Step 2: Take LSAT
Step 3: Attend Law School (usually 3 years of post-graduate study)
Step 4: Pass the State Bar Exam
In the process of one’s education, experience in the field should be obtained and connections should be made. An undergraduate degree can be virtually anything the student is passionate about, but classes should be taken to help students fulfill Law School requirements and help them better understand the material in later years of higher education.
